RENTAL - WINDRUSH - UPPER ST. REGIS LAKE
Originally constructed in the Adirondack great camp style in 1909, Camp Windrush sits on five acres on the east shore of Spitfire Lake, the middle of the three-lake Saint Regis chain of lakes. The present owners purchased the camp in 1996 and it has undergone a complete reconstruction and renovation in keeping with its original rustic style. The camp presently consists of six primary buildings and several accessory structures. The property enjoys over 700 feet of sandy bottom lake frontage and exceptional privacy.

THE MAIN CABIN
The main cabin consists of six rooms and three full baths. A loft bedroom overlooks the large country style kitchen from a rustic balcony. The kitchen is well appointed with dishwasher, microwave, gas cook-top, oven and refrigerator. The large kitchen table easily seats ten people. The living room is dominated by its cathedral ceilings and a massive native stone fireplace. It opens directly to the lakeside porch by way of four French doors. The living room contains a flat screen television and a fax machine. The main cabin also contains the master bedroom with en suite full bath, three additional bedrooms and a full laundry room. Its large porch directly overlooks Spitfire Lake and is fully furnished with dining/game table, swings, rocking chairs and a gas grill. Covered walkways extend in either direction along the lakeshore to other camp buildings.

THE DINING CABIN
The dining cabin was the original kitchen and dining area for the camp. It contains a large dining room with windows overlooking the lake and a full kitchen. In addition, there is a second laundry room, a large bedroom with a private porch and one and one-half baths. The dining cabin is connected to the main cabin by a covered walkway and to the boathouse /playroom by a covered bridge.

CARRIE'S CABIN
A private one-bedroom cabin with a living room, porch, woodstove and full bath.

JESSIE'S CABIN
Connected to the main cabin by a covered walkway, this is a two-bedroom cabin that practically hangs over the lake. It contains a living room with stone fireplace and a full bath with claw foot tub and separate shower.

      Bedroom #2 - one queen bed.

THE BOATHOUSE
Newly constructed in 1996, the boathouse contains three boat slips with electrically operated doors on its first floor. It is fully equipped for water activities with two paddleboats, a canoe, two kayaks, a rowboat and an antique Adirondack guide boat. There are ample life jackets, belts, etc. for safety.

The entire second floor of the boathouse is a massive playroom, measuring forty feet by forty feet, with a twenty-foot cathedral ceiling. It is equipped with a ping-pong table, dartboard, foosball table and a small library. The game room opens directly to balconies that overhang the water, encircle the entire building and contain covered seating areas to enjoy sunset views over the lake. The game room is connected to the dining cabin by a covered bridge that extends over the lake.

THE PROPERTY
Camp Windrush contains five acres of land and is surrounded by undeveloped woodland. It is located in a private bay at the northern end of Spitfire Lake with no other properties visible on either side. There is a sandy beach with a gradual slope that is ideal for small children. There are also deeper areas close to the shore and a floating dock for diving, etc. A large wood deck at the shoreline contains several Adirondack chairs. Docks provide ample space for boats. Walking trails extend throughout the property.
